Description

The WASH Community Mobilizer will provide the WASH program area with day-to-day support related to programmatic and coordination duties. 
S/he will support community mobilization and engagement as well as logistical planning and documentation of the project including through photos, short film diaries, blogs and written input for the report for the project. 
He or she will work with the teams in planning for meetings including training, mentorships, county and sub-county level logistics and report writing
S/he will support the M&E assistants to ensure smooth data collection and reporting process.

Requirements

  • A Diploma in Community Health/Public Health.

  • One (1) year experience in relevant fields
  • Experience in  WASH community interventions
  • Responsibilities

    Support community mobilization and engagement as well as logistical planning and documentation of the project including through photos, short film diaries, blogs and written input for the report for the project.

    Ensure that all planned activities are being undertaken correctly in the assigned sub counties.

    Working closely with the sub county teams to support in requesting and scheduling of activities.

    Support WASH/IPC activities in targeted health facilities.

    Support technical assistance to WASH Champions that are linked to facilities within the allocated sub counties

    Working with the teams in planning for meetings including training, mentorships, county and sub-county level logistics and report writing.

    Support the M&E teams, to ensure smooth data collection and reporting process

    Preparation of weekly reports for the WASH intervention in the assigned sub counties

    Ensure that the WASH activities are reported in the WASH dashboards through the sub county teams.

    Any other task as requested by the supervisor
