Description

The Store Manager – Events is responsible for managing the event equipment store, including inventory control, dispatch coordination, and supervision of support staff. The role ensures all event materials are well organized, maintained, and delivered on time for successful event execution.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years experience in storekeeping or warehouse management, preferably in the events, logistics, or hospitality sector
  • Experience managing high-volume inventory and dispatch operations

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update inventory of all event equipment (décor, lighting, etc.)
  • Organize and label all items in the store for easy tracking and access
  • Coordinate the dispatch and return of event equipment to and from event sites
  • Supervise loading and offloading activities to ensure safe handling of materials
  • Inspect and verify the condition of items upon return and report any damages or losses
  • Work closely with event teams to ensure timely preparation and release of event materials
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with records
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate restocking needs to the procurement team
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the store and storage areas
  • Oversee minor repairs and ensure maintenance of reusable equipment
  • Supervise and assign daily duties to store assistants, loaders, and casual workers
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly store activity and inventory reports
