Description
We are looking for an organized and proactive Storekeeper to
manage our event inventory, including décor items, sound equipment, lighting, and
furniture. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in
storekeeping, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as events,
hospitality, or logistics.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma
in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
- 1–2
years’ experience in storekeeping, preferably in events, hospitality, or
related industry.
- Basic
knowledge of stock management systems (Excel, ERP, or similar).
- Strong
organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention
to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical
ability to lift, move, and arrange equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, record, and store event materials, décor, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems daily.
- Issue and track items allocated for events, ensuring proper return and accountability.
- Inspect and ensure equipment and materials are in good condition before and after events.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or losses.
- Assist in loading and offloading event items for dispatch to venues.
- Coordinate with the events team to ensure timely availability of required items.
- Support in periodic stock counts and audits.
- Keep the store organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
