Description

To provide support in the management of inventory through proper care, maintenance and handling of internal logistics including issuance, receipt and tracking all the organizations equipment.

Requirements

  • Technical/Vocational training in stores/supplies management
  • Knowledge of operations, maintenance and handling of AV equipment
  • Basic accounting and book keeping knowledge
  • 2 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of Inventory management
  • Computer literacy and strong knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30kgs.

Responsibilities

   Receive, unload, and shelve/store inbound equipment as per laid down procedures and protocols.

  Inspect returned equipment for damages and discrepancies and generate reports for record keeping.

       Regularly clean the equipment and the store to ensure high standards are maintained in the store.

       Checking of stores email account.

       Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.

       Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.

       Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.

   Monitor periodic replacement levels for all inventory items to ensure proper levels.

  Verify all goods are dispatched and arrive as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity.

    Day to day check on the storage facilities of upkeep and hygiene.

    Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

  Supervises responsibilities for different units of the stores/warehouse operational performance in the area of safety, health and quality.

      Ensure compliance to health and safety policies.

     Supervise activities within the store and warehouse.

       Coordinate workers assigned for daily task.

       Daily compliance with work schedule.

       Keeping work area clean and organized.

       Adhere to guidelines concerning product quality and safety.

       Provide operational report.
