Description
Our client in the solar industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled and certified Solar PV Engineer to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Solar PV Technology.

At least 5 years hands-on experience in solar PV system installation and commissioning.

Mandatory Certifications:

EPRA T3 Solar PV License (Commercial/Industrial systems)

EPRA B1 Electrical License (Electrical wiring and installation)

Advanced knowledge of inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), charge controllers, and solar software tools.

Familiarity with building codes, OSHA standards, and renewable energy compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities
System Design & Planning
-
Conduct site assessments and generate solar PV system designs and BOMs.

Specify inverters, PV modules, batteries, charge controllers, and related BOS.

Ensure design compliance with grid-tied or hybrid integration standards.
Installation & Supervision
-
Oversee installation of solar arrays on rooftops and ground-mount systems.

Supervise electrical works, including inverter configuration and grid connection.

Ensure project execution aligns with engineering drawings and timelines.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PV performance, inverters, or storage.

Document faults, corrective actions, and performance logs.
Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure systems meet all EPRA and electrical code requirements.

Enforce safety protocols on site and during commissioning.

Support inspection readiness and technical audits.
Stakeholder Engagement
-
Provide client education on solar PV usage and basic troubleshooting.

Work collaboratively with engineers, suppliers, and contractors.

Report project milestones and risks to the management team.
