Description
The Senior Technician is responsible
for conducting and overseeing testing activities, maintaining testing
equipment, and supporting the Manager in ensuring operational efficiency. This
role involves mentoring junior technicians and providing technical guidance.
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate’s degree in Mechanical or
Automotive Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in a tire or automotive testing
lab.
- Strong technical understanding of testing processes and
equipment.
- Leadership skills and experience in a supervisory or
senior role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee complex tire tests following
standard protocols.
- Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration
of testing equipment.
- Analyze test results and ensure data accuracy and
integrity.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on lab procedures
and best practices.
- Assist the Manager in maintaining lab documentation and
records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide input on testing process improvements and
equipment upgrades.
