Description
We
seek vigilant Security Guards from a reputable security firm to maintain
safety and order within our weighbridge facility. Working in close coordination
with local law enforcement, these individuals will be essential in securing key
installations and controlling access points to ensure compliance and protect
facility assets.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of D (Plain) in Kenya
     Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent level of
     education.
- Compliance: Fulfill the requirements of
     Chapter Six of the Constitution, including providing a valid certificate
     of good conduct.
- Experience: Preference will be given to those
     with a background in private security with a reputable firm.
- Skills: Strong observational skills,
     attention to detail, and a capacity for clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Facility
     Security Coordination:
     Collaborate closely with police officers to secure impounded trucks and
     ensure that assets are safe.
- Site
     Monitoring:
     Provide vigilant surveillance of all installations, including High-Speed
     Weigh-in-Motion (HSWIM) gantries, streetlights, and facility gates.
- Access
     Control: Oversee
     entrance and exit points, allowing entry only to authorized personnel and
     directing unauthorized individuals to law enforcement for further action.
- Truck
     Clamping: Secure
     vehicles in the holding yard by clamping as required for safety and
     compliance.
- Patrols
     and Inspections:
     Conduct regular checks of the facility, maintaining a visible security
     presence to deter crime and address potential safety issues.
- Incident
     Reporting:
     Maintain accurate and comprehensive incident logs, document visitor
     entries, and report unusual activities.
