Description

Collect samples from the peripheral facilities/spokes and deliver to the laboratory processing Hubs at the Sub County Hospitals daily from Monday to Friday. 

Requirements

  • Basic Secondary Education,
  • Ownership of a Motocycle
  • Valid cycling license
  • Understand the local language
  • Prior experience on sample transportation or have a hospital experience as Community Health care worker, support staffs or prior attached to lab support staff.

Responsibilities

  • THAT Daily collection of samples for CD4, VL EID, Gene Xpert and any other test from the peripheral facilities to the Hubs.
  • Dispatch of test results from the Hubs/processing labs to the requesting facilities. 
  • Delivery of laboratory commodities from the Hubs to the peripheral sites accompanied by delivery notes. 
  • Support distribution of PT panels to the HTS providers at the facilities during the routine facility visits. 
  • Deliver samples from one Hub to another, or to Courier office if needed.
  • During the normal schedule, may be asked to carry monthly reports from the facilities to the Kajiado County offices.
  • Updating the daily transport sheet with samples collected, results delivered, and facilities visited.
