Description
The
Generator Sales Executive is responsible for selling generator sets to
customers in the construction and power industries. This role involves
understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate generator sets,
negotiating sales contracts, and providing after-sales support to ensure
customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Knowledge of construction and power industry in Kenya
- 2-3 years of experience in selling generator sets
- Degree/ Diploma in a business-related field
- Strong executive-level relationship building, communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Computer-literate and valid driving license
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's generator
products and services.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through cold
calling, networking, and other sales techniques.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase
generator set features and benefits.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to
prospective customers.
- Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and discounts to close deals and
meet sales targets.
- Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to ensure
timely delivery and installation of generator sets.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to existing and
potential customers.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer
interactions, and sales forecasts.
