Description
The Machine Sales
Representative is responsible for selling heavy equipment, such as excavators,
wheel loaders, graders, and dozers, to customers. This role involves
understanding customer needs, demonstrating equipment features, negotiating
sales contracts, and providing after-sales support to ensure customer
satisfaction.
Requirements
- Knowledge of construction industry in Kenya/ East Africa is an added
advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in selling heavy equipment (Excavators,
wheel loaders, graders, dozers, etc.)
- Degree or Diploma in a business-related field
- Strong executive-level relationship building, communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Computer-literate and valid driving license
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's heavy
equipment products and services.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through cold
calling, networking, and other sales techniques.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase
equipment features and benefits.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to
prospective customers.
- Negotiate sales terms, pricing, and discounts to close deals and
meet sales targets.
- Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to ensure the
timely delivery and installation of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to existing and
potential customers.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
