Description
Kazi Solutions ltd has established partnerships with the Chamber of Commerce and is collaborating closely with a Saudi Arabian Company to streamline the deployment process for nursing officers.
Diploma holders will be entitled to an untaxed salary of KSH 136,000, while
Degree holders will receive KSH 236,000 untaxed,
Accommodation and transportation to and from the work site provided. Food costs will be the responsibility of the individuals. Candidates must hold registration as nurses.
Requirements
- Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Degree/Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, including health history, vital signs, and symptoms.
- Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans based on patients' assessments, diagnoses, and identified needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Patient Care: Provide skilled nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring responses to treatments, wound care, and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Health Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health outcomes and disease prevention.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Safety and Quality: Adhere to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and needs within the healthcare system, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills, stay abreast of current trends in nursing practice, and maintain licensure.
- Ethical Practice: Uphold ethical standards of nursing practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality, respecting cultural diversity, and promoting autonomy and informed decision-making.
