Description
Our Client, a leading pharmaceutical and medical equipment company in Nairobi, Kenya is looking to hire a Medical Equipment Sales Representative who will be responsible for promoting and selling medical equipment to healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, and medical practitioners. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their medical practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of medical equipment and healthcare practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients within the healthcare industry.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Schedule and conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's medical equipment and services.
- Stay informed about new products, technologies, and industry developments.
- Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and other required documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet client demand.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations related to the sale and distribution of medical equipment.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive data.
