Description
The Mechanical Technician performs
installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components in testing
equipment. This role supports accurate and efficient testing by ensuring all
mechanical systems are operational and calibrated.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably
in an automotive lab.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and
troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and
schematics.
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and calibrate mechanical testing
equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in testing
systems.
- Assist in conducting tests and record mechanical
readings.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on lab
equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational
standards.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities.
