Description
The IT Technician provides technical
support for the lab’s computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
This role ensures data integrity and smooth operation of digital systems
critical for testing and data reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of IT experience, preferably in a lab or
industrial environment.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and
networking.
- Knowledge of data management and cybersecurity best
practices.
Responsibilities
- Set up, monitor, and maintain lab computer systems and
network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues in real-time.
- Ensure data security and backup of test results and
reports.
- Manage system updates and maintain lab-specific software.
- Assist in the integration of automated testing systems and data collection.
- Support
staff with IT-related issues and maintain user documentation
