Description

Our Client, a leading Events Company in Nairobi, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Human Resource Officer to join their dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle diverse HR functions across various clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business            Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in handling diverse HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
  • Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases 
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies 
    • Coordinate and manage recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection 
    • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns 
    • Address and resolve employee issues and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
    • Promote positive employee relations and ensure a high level of employee satisfaction
    • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems
    • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance appraisals and employee development plans.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees 
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs 
    • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and benefits administration.
    • Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures 
    • Ensure consistent application and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Prepare and present HR reports and analytics
    • Utilize HR metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and strategic planning.
