Description
Our client, a leading Hotel in Mombasa is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager who will be overall in charge of all sales, Marketing and customer service functions.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hospitality Programmes.
- Experience in an established formal Hotel & Conferencing business, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry.
- Extensive background in Hotel accommodation and conferencing operations.
- Proficient in digital marketing for hotel businesses, particularly through online channels.
- Track record of meeting personal sales targets and leading sales teams to success.
- Strong relationships with organizations conducting conferences at hotels.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the contact between the hotel and its existing and potential customers.
- Own the Hotel Revenue Targets and delivery of those targets.
- In liaison with Hotel Manager and finance team, negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales.
- Makes accurate, rapid cost calculations and provides customers with quotations as required.
- Ensures that all complaints by customers are addressed immediately and settled.
- Maintains and develops relationships with new and existing customers.
- Reviews sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
- Provides feedback from customers to enhance service delivery.
- Ensures that guest accounts are properly posted and maintained.
- Oversees the proper input of all reservations in hotel systems.
- Overseas quality of customer service at front office.
- Supervises of all staff in Front Office and ensuring that high standards are maintained at all times.
- Remains current on room rates, room availability and emergency procedures.
- Produces management reports as per the company specification.
- Produces monthly sales reports and drives sales executives to deliver on targets.
- Represents the hotel at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Develops ideas for marketing the hotel and its facilities to meet and exceed targets.
- Owns the Hotels online presence.
- Drives digital marketing initiatives to ensure positive image of hotel and vibrancy of online sales channels.
