Our client is a top-tier retailer with an extensive network of supermarkets and wholesale outlets across Kenya, committed to excellence in supply-chain efficiency and customer service, is looking to hire a Head of Finance, to drive budgeting, reporting, and financial controls across our retail network.

• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting; CPA(K) or ACCA fully-qualified (MBA an advantage)
• 8+ years in finance, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in a retail or FMCG environment
• Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

• Shape and execute the finance strategy, budgeting & forecasting
• Lead monthly, quarterly & annual financial reporting under IFRS
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax laws, VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting & banking relationships
• Oversee audits (internal & external) and implement robust controls
• Advise the Executive Team on profitability, cost-management & investments
• Mentor and develop the finance team for high performance
