Description
Our client in the healthcare industry in Nairobi is looking to hire a front office/cashier who will handle customer inquiries, manage appointments, process payments, maintain records, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Requirements
- Diploma in Front Office administration, business administration, or health records or an equivalent qualification
- At least two (2) years working in a service-oriented industry.
- Basic accounting skills
- Computer proficient
- Customer service-oriented
Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and assisting with purchases or transactions.
- Cash Management: Handling cash, credit, or debit transactions accurately, including counting money, issuing receipts, and providing correct change.
- Transaction Handling: Processing sales, refunds, exchanges, and other transactions promptly and accurately.
- Record-Keeping: Maintaining transaction records, such as sales reports, cash balances, and customer receipts.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring and restocking merchandise or supplies at the cashier counter or front office.
- Communication: Collaborating with other departments or team members to address customer needs, manage inventory, and resolve any issues that arise.
