Our client is a top-tier retailer with an extensive network of supermarkets and wholesale outlets across Kenya, committed to excellence in supply-chain efficiency and customer service, is looking to hire a hands-on accounting professional to manage day-to-day financial transactions and reporting.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA(K) or ACCA part-qualified
• 3–5 years’ experience in retail accounting or a corporate setting
• Hands-on with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero or similar)

• Maintain the general ledger, posting and reconciling all transactions
• Prepare bank reconciliations & manage the cashbook
• Process AP/AR, ensuring timely supplier payments & collections
• Compile monthly management accounts & variance analyses
• Ensure statutory compliance: VAT, PAYE, NSSF, SHIF deductions
• Support auditors with schedules & documentation
