Description
The Digital Media Manager is a senior, full-spectrum digital operator responsible for strategy, media buying, execution, optimization, reporting, and community-level oversight of digital campaigns across platforms. This individual merges the roles of Paid Ads Specialist, Performance Analyst, Media Buyer, and Social Media Manager, ensuring a seamless and data-informed campaign lifecycle from planning to community engagement.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in digital media buying, social media management, and analytics
- Proven results in managing multi-country, multi-language digital campaigns with varied budgets
- Mastery of Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn, and supporting tools (e.g., SEMrush, Sprout Social, GA4)
- Experience with budget control and multi-currency payments (USD, EUR, KES)
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong storytelling mindset using data
- Experience in managing or advising community engagement across high-profile social campaigns is a plus
Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Planning
- Develop integrated digital media strategies across paid and organic channels (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) aligned to client objectives.
- Define campaign goals, KPIs, audience personas, media budgets, and content frameworks in collaboration with the broader team.
- Recommend platform mix, ad formats, and distribution schedules tailored for multilingual, multi-region deployment.
Media Buying & Execution
- Set up, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other platforms.
- Manage daily media buying operations, including audience targeting, bid strategy, placement refinement, and cross-platform pacing.
- Execute campaigns in multiple currencies and languages, ensuring adherence to budget and platform policies.
- Lead A/B testing for copy, creatives, and delivery timing to determine optimal configurations.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Implement and manage conversion tracking, pixel configuration, and goal-based attribution models.
- Monitor performance against KPIs (e.g., reach, CTR, CPC, CPM, engagement, conversion rate), proactively adjusting tactics.
- Build custom performance dashboards using Google Data Studio or other visualization tools, delivering weekly, monthly, and post-campaign insights.
- Produce narrative summaries of campaign impact and opportunities for refinement.
Social Media Oversight & Community Monitoring
- Oversee organic content publishing schedules across platforms during active campaigns.
- Collaborate with the content strategist and designer to approve captions, hashtags, scheduling, and tagging protocols.
- Monitor audience comments, sentiment, and engagement trends during live campaigns.
- Flag brand mentions or emerging conversations for client response or strategy pivot.
Innovation & Best Practices
- Stay current with algorithm updates, ad formats, audience tools, and content trends across all major platforms.
- Recommend and test new technologies, ad networks, or influencer collaborations that could expand reach or improve ROI.
