Description
The Deputy Head of Concept will support the Head of Concept
in the development and execution of creative ideas, event concepts, and visual
media content. The role requires a highly creative professional with strong
skills in graphics design, concept development, videography, and media
production.
The position combines strategic creativity with technical
execution, ensuring that all event and media outputs are visually appealing,
brand-aligned, and professionally produced.
Requirements
- Diploma
or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Media, Film Production, or a related field.
- 3–5
years’ experience in concept development, graphic design, and multimedia
production within the events, creative, or entertainment industry.
- Proficiency
in creative and production software including:
- Adobe
Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
- CorelDRAW,
Canva, Figma, PowerPoint presentations SketchUp, AutoCAD, Blender, Vector
works Spotlight for concept development and presentation.
- Strong
understanding of visual communication, color theory, composition, and
design aesthetics.
- Experience
in event branding, stage design, and on-site production coordination is an
added advantage.
- Excellent
attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet tight production
deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Contribute
to the development of creative concepts and visual storytelling for
events, campaigns, and media productions.
- Develop
creative mockups, mood boards, and presentation decks to visualize and
communicate event concepts and design directions.
- Design
and produce high-quality graphics and visual materials, including stage
screens, backdrops, digital banners, posters, brochures, and branded event
collateral.
- Create
motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance event
presentations, video content, and brand visibility.
- Plan,
capture, and edit professional video content for corporate, social, and
live events, ensuring compelling storytelling and visual quality.
- Oversee
post-production processes, including editing, sound mixing, color grading,
and visual compositing to ensure polished outputs.
- Collaborate
closely with the production, creative, business development, and technical
teams to ensure creative ideas are executed seamlessly and effectively.
- Collaborate
with the Business Development (BD) and technical teams to develop competitive
pricing models and event strategies that meet client expectations and
align with company objectives.
- Generate
creative proposals and quotations that reflect client specifications while
demonstrating innovation and exceeding expectations.
- Maintain
an organized repository of creative assets, design templates, and visual
materials, ensuring accessibility and brand consistency.
- Ensure
visual coherence, design quality, and brand alignment across all creative
outputs and media platforms.
- Support
the Head of Concept in leading, mentoring, and guiding the creative team
in design and production-related projects.
- Research
and integrate new design trends, creative tools, and technologies to keep
the company’s offerings fresh, competitive, and industry-relevant.
