Description
The objective of this role is to oversee the development of concepts into live production designs and manage the company’s look and feel. The Concept Design and Development Manager is responsible for the creative process that goes into designing and development concepts and provides the leadership, management and vision necessary for event operations administration controls and reporting procedures. This role seeks to build a vibrant team of creative, innovative and efficient designers and technicians who can deliver on any given design brief.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Design, Creative Arts or a related field.
· Minimum of 5–7 years’ proven experience in concept design, creative direction, or event production.
· At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, leading multidisciplinary creative and technical teams.
· Strong background in developing and implementing creative concepts for events, branding, marketing campaigns and digital platforms.
· Experience in budgeting, financial management, ROI analysis, vendor management and client negotiations.
· Hands-on experience with digital content creation, event technologies, and visual branding.
· Proficiency in graphics and design tools/software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Ability to manage photography and videography projects, ensuring high-quality production for marketing, events, and archival purposes.
Responsibilities
Research and analyze market trends, audience needs, and competitors to generate innovative ideas.
Develop and present creative concepts, proposals, storyboards, and mood boards for events, campaigns, and projects.
Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to refine and implement approved concepts.
Lead media planning, strategy, and execution across digital, print, broadcast, and social platforms.
Oversee the creation and distribution of multimedia content (graphics, videos, photography, animations).
Build and manage media partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to maximize visibility.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics of concepts and media campaigns, providing insights and improvements.
Manage the creative and media budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Supervise and mentor the creative/media team, freelancers, and external agencies.
Ensure brand consistency, creativity, and quality across all projects and media platforms.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and tools to continuously innovate concepts and media strategies.
