We are seeking a skilled Certified Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of our weighbridge equipment and infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational continuity and accuracy by maintaining electromechanical systems and supporting essential weighbridge functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled individual with expertise in weights and measures, electrical systems, and IT support.

• Educational Background: Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical & Communications Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (Electronics & Systems), Bachelor of Technology (Instrumentation & Control), Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Technician, ideally within weights and measurements activities.
• Technical Certification: Certificate of Competence from the Weights and Measures Department to repair Type 3 electronic weighing equipment.
• Integrity and Compliance: Must provide a current certificate of good conduct and meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
• Licensing: Valid Annual Practicing License from a recognized professional body.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in computer applications, with strong troubleshooting and networking skills.
