Description

The business development manager is tasked with increasing the hospital's market position and maximising financial growth. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, building key customer relationships, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Requirements

  • Business Growth: Develop and execute business strategies to meet financial goals, expand market share, and enhance the hospital’s visibility.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the needs of existing markets.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective clients and other business and project partners.
  • Proposal Development: Drive the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Networking: Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Partnership Management: Manage partnerships and alliances with other healthcare providers, ensuring alignment with the hospital's goals and strategies.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Work closely with the marketing department to ensure that the marketing strategies and activities are aligned with the business development goals.
  • Reporting: Track and report on the progress of all business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to think outside the box for creative solutions.
