Description
We are seeking an organized,
detail-oriented, and experienced Assistant Weighbridge Manager to join
our team. The successful candidate will assist the Weighbridge Cluster Manager
in overseeing weighbridge operations, maintaining high operational standards,
and ensuring optimal functionality across shifts. This role requires a
candidate with strong administrative experience, exceptional communication
skills, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of weighbridge
operations.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Minimum of a Higher National
     Diploma from a recognized university.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven
     experience in Business Administration, with exposure to public or private
     sector administration.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the
     administration of technical facilities or projects, ideally in a similar
     position.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication skills and a
      high degree of integrity.
- Proficiency in computer
      applications.
- Good organizational skills with
      the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Management: Support the Weighbridge Cluster
     Manager in planning and scheduling key operations and activities for
     efficient weighbridge management.
- Shift Supervision: Oversee shift staff, ensuring
     effective operations at static weighbridge stations.
- Mobile Weighbridge Operations: Conduct and manage mobile
     weighbridge operations as needed.
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries and
     issues effectively, escalating any complex matters to the Cluster Manager.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper upkeep and
     maintenance of weighbridge equipment and facilities, ensuring that
     maintenance records are accurately completed and stored.
- Legal Compliance: Attend to court matters related to
     weighbridge operations if necessary.
- Enforce Operational Standards: Uphold operational processes and
     procedures in alignment with organizational policies.
- Shift Coordination: Work with the Officer Commanding
     the Weighbridge Police Station to ensure seamless coordination of shift
     operations.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as
     assigned to support weighbridge operations.
