Description

We are looking for an exceptional accountant who will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of financial management strategies, systems, and controls for optimal growth and profitability.

The individual will support the organization in various tasks related to cost monitoring, analysis, and reporting, contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the organization.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • A minimum of 1 year relevant experience
  • Should have experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products, mainly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • CPA certification is an added advantage
  • Additional experience in auditing and International accounting


Responsibilities

  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information and preparing a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and achieving the result by performing the duty.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and current tax and accounting laws.
